Language Arts/Writing/Science:  We will continue to work on our animal classification books.  We should be finished with this project by the middle of next week.  The students have worked very hard on these.

Phonics:  r-controlled vowel sounds -ar, -or, -ir, -er, -ur (far, store, stir, mixer, fur)

Spelling: but, what, all, eat, sea, see, seed, read, tree, free *spring  *flower
Test on Friday.

Math: estimate and measure length with non-standard and standard units

Specials:  M-PE  T-science lab  W-PE  Th-art  F-PE

Announcements

• Scholastic Book Fair in the Media Center all week.  "Eat Lunch With Someone You Love" on Tuesday.  Our lunch time is 10:54-11:24. 
• Maika and Jasmine Dubuc are our Rock Star Students this week.
• Happy Birthday to Natalia Garafalo on March 21, Caleb Parker on March 23, and Ethan Duquette on March 31.
• Zoo Atlanta field trip on Wednesday.  Please have your child wear comfortable shoes and a Ford shirt.  **If you are a chaperone, please meet in our classroom no later than 9:00. Thanks to all the parents coming with us!
• Report cards go home Wednesday.  The copy is yours to keep.  Please return the signature card.
• Spring Fling is Saturday, March 24 4-8pm...hope to see you there!
• "3 Piggy Opera" on Monday, March 26 at 1:15 in the music room.  Students should wear jeans and solid color shirts.
• Spring break is April 2-6.
